Layout Management

Effortlessly wrap your page content with consistent visual structures using Layouts.

Layouts are reusable content wrappers, such as headers, footers, or sidebars, designed to surround your page content with global elements. Just like pages or global components, layouts are created on the content level and are best organized within a dedicated layouts folder for clarity and maintainability.

Content Slots

Each Layout includes five optional content slots that let you structure pages exactly the way you want.

  • Top and Bottom are commonly used for header and footer content.

  • Left and Right work well for sidebars or navigation elements.

  • Overlays are ideal for placing floating content like menus, modals, or off-canvas panels.

These slots give you full control to build consistent and dynamic page structures without extra effort.

Choosing Layouts

With Vertex Forge, switching Layouts is fast and intuitive.

You simply choose your Layout from the Layout Select field at the root of your page content. As soon as you change the selection, your Visual Editor reflects the update immediately, without requiring any reloads or complex steps.

You always see your content exactly as it will appear, wrapped in the Layout you selected.
