Robots Meta Directives

Multi-select options that define how search engines should treat your page:

  • No Index – Don’t index this page in search engines.

  • No Follow – Don’t follow links on this page.

  • No Image Index – Prevent image indexing.

  • No Translate – Prevent translation in Google.

  • No Archive – Don’t allow caching.

  • No Cache – Disables cached page versions.

  • No Snippet – Blocks featured snippets.

  • No Sitelink Searchbox – Prevents sitelink display in Google.

Page Title

The primary title that is displayed in search engine results.

By default, this is inherited to open graph data if not filled out to ensure SEO best practices.

Meta Description

Describes the page content in search results.

Helps increase CTR and should stay below ~160 characters.

Canonical URL

Prevents duplicate content by setting the canonical source.

Defaults to a self-referencing link but can be manually defined.

Open Graph (og) Fields

For social platforms like LinkedIn, Bluesky, X, Reddit, Discord, or Facebook:

  • og:Title – Defaults to page title.

  • og:Description – Defaults to meta description.

  • og:Image – Image preview when shared.

  • og:Type – Page type (Website, Article, Book, Profile, Video).

  • og:URL – The canonical or specific share URL for the page.

Twitter Card Fields

Optimized metadata for X, formerly known as Twitter:

  • twitter:title – Inherits from og:title unless specified.

  • twitter:description – Inherits from og:description unless specified.

  • twitter:image – Inherits from og:image unless specified.

  • twitter:card – Choose between Summary, Large Image, App, or Player card.

  • twitter:site – Twitter handle for your brand/site.

  • twitter:creator – Twitter handle of content creator.

  • twitter:url – Direct link override (optional).
